What is the ‘Crick Boat Show’? Find us There!
The Crick Boat Show takes place once a year and is the event in the boater’s calendar. A weekend of everything waterways from the latest canal boat models to taking a canal boat out for a spin yourself. If you have even the smallest interest in the world of boating, the Crick Boat Show should be on your to do list for 2019.
Taking place over the weekend from Saturday 25th to Monday 27th May at Crick Marina just outside of Rugby, you can enjoy the latest and most impressive feats of engineering in the world of marine technology as companies show of their latest developments, products and offers.
There are several events taking place over the course of the weekend too. Every fancied trying your hand at piloting a canal boat? Then get involved in the Boat Handling Taster Sessions as an experienced and seasoned veteran of the waterways shows you the basics of casting off, mooring up, boat etiquette, rope handling and all the jargon your likely to come across.
There also a number of seminars happening over the weekend where you can come and learn about boats and improve your knowledge and as a result, your experience on the waterways. Learn about buying or selling a boat, ensuring your boat is well maintained and some hidden gem sailing routes. The seminars are a great way to learn more about your favourite hobby.
This is only a taster of what’s on offer at the Crick Boat Show 2019.
